OG have been granted the prestigous first invite to EPICENTER: Moscow 2017. The boys in green will be one of ten teams to grace the stage with their presence, competing for the $500,000 prize pool June 9th-11th.
It’s no surprise to see one of the best of teams in the world and three time Valve Major Championship team be given the honor of the first invite. OG continue to be on a roll – taking 4th place at MarsTV Dota 2 League, 2nd place at The Summit 6, a third championship title for a Valve Major – at The Boston Major and several more top three finishes at StarLadder iLeague, DAC 2017, Elimination Mode 3.0 and Dota Pit Season 5. The European squad is primed for the possibility of another title at the upcoming Kiev Major beginning April 24th.
Ten teams – six directly invited and four qualified from around the world will be battling it out in Moscow at the VTB Ice Palace sports arena.
The EPICENTER Main event will commence with a group stage June 4th-7th where four teams will be eliminated before hitting the stage. The onstage final will take place between June 9th-11th.

Last year the EPICENTER Moscow LAN playoffs crowned Team Liquid as champions. The European team edged out Newbee 3:2 in an intense and dramatic series. Team Liquid walked away with the title, trophy and $250,000 prize and more importantly finally broke their second place curse.
